Emerald Coast Chiropractic unravels Family Ties

Ken Gallander knocked in five runs to lead Emerald Coast Chiropractic in a 24-13 win over Family Ties in the Coed Softball Recreational Division B League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Gallander hammered out a homer, two doubles and two singles for five RBIs.

Family Ties took a 7-4 lead in the first inning. Emerald Coast battled back with 10 runs in the bottom of the second to go ahead.

Chuck Ball hit four singles for an RBI for Emerald Coast, and Jacquelyn Ralls doubled and hit three singles for six RBIs.

Jason Autrey was the big stick for Family Ties with a double and three singles for two RBIs. Erica Newlons hit three singles and Karen Parrish doubled and singled for an RBI.

•Club Aqua 17, L-3 6

After three innings, Club Aqua was on top 8-6. In the next two innings, Club Aqua put the game away with nine runs for a five-inning victory.

Ryan Harrison tripled and singled for two RBIs for Club Aqua. Micah Mortag hit two singles for an RBI and Mike Landis belted a home run.

James Ward doubled and singled for an RBI for L-3. Tom Sanders hit two singles for two RBIs, and Lisa Linder connected for two singles.

•Destiny Worship Center Green 19, Ariel Seafood 16

After trailing for five innings, Destiny Green brought in six runs in the bottom of the sixth for the win.

Kevin McCaleb smacked a home run and a single for an RBI for Destiny Green. Ronnie Faulk doubled and singled.

Drew Jaindl belted a home run and three singles for three RBIs for Ariel. Riley Brown doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs, and Vanessa English doubled and hit two singles for an RBI. Tim Roberts hit a home run.

Emerald Coast stepped out to a 9-6 lead in the first three innings.

Teresa Imdieke doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs for Emerald Coast. John Corlew hit three singles for four RBIs, and Kathy Whidden hit three singles for an RBI.

Lynda Tanner doubled and hit two singles for an RBI for SOS. Ace Crank connected for two doubles and a single for an RBI.
