South Walton finishes as runner-up, advances to regional play
After a 41-38 win Friday night over the Bozeman Bucks, the South Walton Seahawks lost 69-41 in the District 4-A championship game to West Gadsden at Blountstown High School Saturday.
Nevertheless the Seahawks advance to a 7 p.m. regional semifinal game on Feb. 21 against the Graceville Tigers at Graceville High.
In the victory over the Bucks, Shafer Martin who scored 11 points led South Walton. Paxton Dixon tossed in 10, while Bishop Waldrop and Elisha Gundrum each had nine.
