Cash and Carry spent as Spiva Water Works turns it on


Doc Agostinelli knocked in six runs to lead Spiva Water Works in a 24-12 win over Frank’s Cash and Carry in the Men’s Division III Softball League at Morgan Sports Center.
Agostinelli slapped a homer and three singles.
At the end of two innings, Spiva was up 10-9. However, in the next two innings, Spiva put 14 runs on the board to leave Frank’s behind for a five-inning victory.
Jesse Hernandez hit two doubles and two singles for an RBI for Spiva, and Steve Rogers homered, doubled and singled for four RBIs. Eddie Rivera belted a two-run homer.
Hal Laird and Josh McKay each hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs for Frank’s. Chris Schissler hit two singles for three RBIs.
•Marriotts 20, Old Bay Steamer 19
Daniel Thomas clubbed two doubles and two singles for Marriotts. Steve Rivera ripped a homer and two singles.
Joe Kerns hit five singles for Old Bay. Shawn Brown blasted a home run, a double and two singles, and Mike Dowling doubled and hit two singles.
•Shades of Destin 23, Cold Stone 13
Frank Jordan knocked in seven runs for Shades on two homers and two singles. Joe Creinin doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Brandon Creinin hit three singles for an RBI.
Jeremy Vaiyanet, Brad Knowles and Jake Sayers each hit three singles for Cold Stone.
•Rogers Home and Pool Service 22, Frank’s Cash and Carry 11
B.J. Wood connected for six hits and one RBI to lead Rogers. Blaze Crank hit three homers and a double for five RBIs, and Ace Crank tripled, hit two doubles and one single for three RBIs. Blaze Crank knocked a two-run homer and a solo home run.
Aaron Carter tripled, doubled and singled for Frank’s. Dusty Bryant whacked a homer and two singles for an RBI, and Victor Barrett hit three singles for three RBIs.
