Latin Salsa Festival
FORT WALTON BEACH - The sixth-annual Latin Salsa Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 25 at the Fort Walton Landing Park, 139 Brooks St. The event includes ethnic foods, a variety of local and out-of-town vendors, fun activities for kids, and the sounds of live salsa music.

NICEVILLE - The Northwest Florida Ballet School will present its student performance at 2 p.m. May 25 at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center. DESTIN – Beginning May 28, every Tuesday during the summer from 6-10 p.m. HarborWalk Village transforms into "The Big Easy" with floats, beads, the Village Brass Band, stilt walkers, jugglers and lots of excitement during the parade through the Village. Live entertainment follows.

Red, White and Blue Celebration
DESTIN – Beginning May 30, the Red, White, and Blue Celebration, honoring a local hero who goes above and beyond to better their community, will be held from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday at HarborWalk Village. This week’s celebration is a special reunion of heroes honored over the past years. World Oceans Day
DESTIN - Henderson Beach State Park will celebrate World Oceans Day with family-centered activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8. An informative sea turtle program will be presented by park rangers. The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge staff will bring their animal ambassadors to share their rescue stories. Children’s ocean-themed art activities will also be included. DESTIN - Big Kahuna's VIP Day will be held June 9 with 100 percent of proceeds to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. VIP Tickets are $30 each or 4 for $110 and must be purchased in advance. Big Kahuna's season ticket holders can get tickets to the VIP event for just a $10 donation. National Flip Flop Day
DESTIN - The sixth annual event hosted by Tropical Smoothie Café will be held June 14. HarborWalk Village Tropical Smoothie will hand out free Jetty Punch smoothies to guests wearing flip-flops plus families will enjoy games and activities for all ages to raise money for Camp Sunshine, an organization that helps children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to make magical memories within the unique confines of Camp Sunshine.
DESTIN – The Destin History & Fishing Museum will host its annual Old Fashioned Fish Fry fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 15 at Harry T's Lighthouse at HarborWalk Village. The proceeds from this event benefit the restoration of the historic Primrose vessel.
