The Gulf Coast Bulldogs defeated the FWB Bulls 84-56 in the championship game of the 17-plus Spring Basketball League tournament at the Destin Community Center.

Ishmael Skylark was the go-to guy for the Bulldogs with 40 points, including 17 twos and two 3-pointers.

At the half, the Bulldogs led by 30 points.

Isaac Williams made three 3s on his way to 17 points for the Bulldogs, while Xavier Jones scored eight points.

Magic Hall was tops for the Bulls with two 3s en route to 22 points. Tivo Wooson scored 12 points, and Sherman  Cain made one 3-pointer on his way to nine.

Earlier in the tournament, the Bulls downed Old Bay Steamer 72-69 in overtime.

At the half, Old Bay was up 35-25, then the Bulls came stampeding back to tie the game at 67-67 at the end of regulation.

Hall was high-point player for the Bulls with three 3s, six twos and nine from the free-throw line for 30 points. Wooson made two 3s en route to 21 points, and Cain knocked down three 3s and three free throws for 12 points.

Chris Wade was top gun for Old Bay with four 3s en route to 27 points. Curtis Sims scored 15 points, and Jeremy Leiva contributed 14.
