Wet-n-Wild Watersports invites the community to help identify local families deserving of a relaxing day of fun on the water. The company, located on the Destin harbor, specializes in Jet Ski and pontoon rentals to Crab Island focusing on fun, relaxation and quality time with friends and family. As part of its mission to give back to the local area, Wet-n-Wild will give away complimentary use of its entire fleet of jet skis and pontoon boats on Saturday, Oct. 12, to families who truly need a day of fun.

“We get to see first-hand the excitement and joy that families get out of  unplugging, hopping on a boat and relaxing in sunshine and fresh air,” said Wet-n-Wild co-owner Travis Glaze. “It’s quality time that allows for forming bonds, making lasting memories and getting away from everyday stress and challenges. Our goal is to take that fun and enjoyment and give it to a local family who could really benefit from our version of therapy.”

“Maybe someone out there has had a really tough time without the means to get away and enjoy important family moments. Whether someone in the family is sick, parents have had to take on more work or general economic constraints have taken effect, we want to offer a bright spot to make things better, even for a day,” said Kevin Harvey, co-owner.

A longtime supporter of the community, Wet-n-Wild Watersports has been involved with Make a Wish Foundation, White Wilson Medical Center Foundation’s Little Black Dress Party and Warriors on the Water, to name a few.
