Legendary Marine launches canvas, upholstery department
Legendary Marine recently launched its expanded, in-house canvas and upholstery department designed to offer custom services to boaters and the general public alike.
“We had an outside vendor who handled our occasional customer requests for canvas, upholstery and fabrication activities,” said Tripper Crisp, director of service operations. “However, we’ve seen more customers wanting to refit their boats or add aftermarket canvas and upholstery options. We conducted our own in-house focus group among a group of customers and the feedback was compelling.”

Dr. Roland Reeves named director of addiction services at Sacred Heart Hospital
Dr. Roland Reeves, MD, FACS, ASAM has been named the director of addiction services for Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. Dr. Reeves, MD is medical director of Destin Recovery Addiction Treatment Center and the South Walton Medical Center.

“This complex disease involves changes in the structure and function of the brain. This requires not only therapists and peer groups, but the ongoing involvement of a physician,” said Dr. Reeves.
Shelter House executive director awarded CFRE
Shelter House Executive Director Michelle Sperzel was recently awarded the Certified Fund Raising Executive credential. “Over her tenure as executive director, Michelle has shown tremendous dedication to the organization — expanding our services and developing supportive relationships within the greater community,” said Dawn Hoffman, Shelter House Board secretary and fundraising chair.
