Another parade has been postponed this weekend as the threat of inclement weather becomes more imminent.

Crestview’s annual Christmas parade, originally scheduled for Saturday evening, was officially postponed to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 15.

“After much deliberation and tons of phone calls (volunteers, city of Crestview, police, Santa Clauses, etc.) we have decided to postpone the parade,” Main Street Crestview Association said in an email Friday.

As of Friday afternoon, Saturday’s forecast shows 90 to 100 percent chance of rain across the Emerald Coast, with storms lasting until late that night.

The Niceville/Valparaiso Community Christmas Parade has been rescheduled to 10 a.m. Dec. 15 because of the weather threat.

Navarre's Christmas parade is still slated for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce showed no updates on its social media, and employees could not be reached Friday afternoon.

Organizers at the Navarre chamber said Thursday that they were keeping an eye on the weather, but planned to wait as long as possible before deciding to cancel.

Christmas in the Park is also scheduled for Saturday in Navarre, and is rain or shine, according to the chamber.

The Main Street Market in Milton has also been canceled because of the weather threat.
