The Gulf County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a possible bomb threat at Wewahitchka High School.

Students have been evacuated to the football field for precautionary measures.

“Any threats that hint at the possibility of endangering students or faculty will be thoroughly investigated,” said Sheriff Mike Harrison in a press release. “We have zero tolerance for threats made against schools.”

At this time all students and faculty are safe. Further information will be released as the situation develops.
