Due to Hurricane Michael’s devastation to the Emerald Coast, the United Way of Okaloosa and Walton Counties is extending the 2018 COATS FOR KIDS Coat Drive until Dec. 12. The children and families in our counties are in desperate need of your generous donation of coats.

Please share the warmth and help us provide a warmer 2018 holiday season for many children within our community and the children who have been displaced here. If you would like to participate in this event, please drop-off new coats or gently-used, clean coats at one of the following drop-off locations from now until Dec. 12.

Coat donations will be distributed to local United Way Community Partners who provide assistance to individuals and families facing difficult times. Last year we distributed over 2,600 coats to families throughout the community and schools in Okaloosa and Walton Counties … we need your help to make it happen again this year.

Thanks to our partner sponsors and the community for supporting this project: A & A Transfer & Storage, Destin Cleaners, ResortQuest Laundry and all the above listed drop-off locations.
