SHALIMAR — Okaloosa County Commission Chairman Graham Fountain has been named to Gov.-elect Ron DeSantis’ transition team for public safety, along with other leaders in the public safety community.

Fountain served in law enforcement for more than 30 years. His leadership experience includes posts in Okaloosa and Walton counties, as well as state law enforcement. He has also served on the U.S. Justice Department Homeland Security Advisory Committee.

“I am very honored to join this list of professionals in serving on Governor-Elect Ron Desantis’s public safety transition team,” Fountain said in a recent Twitter post.
