An abused Florida kitten has found the safest forever home a pet could ask for: with Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods.

Sheriff Woods adopted the kitten on Tuesday after a video of the cat’s abuse went viral, reported.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested last month when the video showed him throwing a rock at the kitten that left it with severe facial trauma.

Now the kitten, renamed Olaf, has made a full recovery.

"We can promise you that this sweet little girl will never be abused again, and will be under the personal protection of the sheriff himself for the rest of her life. Please help us welcome Olaf Woods to our family," the Facebook post said.
