The Panhandle Animal Welfare Society will hold its annual Community Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 4 at the Northwest Florida Fairgrounds on Lewis Turner Blvd. in Fort Walton Beach. Admission is $2, with children under 18 free. Shop early from 5-7 p.m. May 3, with admission of $10.

Items will include furniture, small appliances, toys, knick-knacks, books, children's videos, Halloween and Christmas decorations and lots of other items, too many to name.

PAWS will also have a Rabies & Microchip Clinic at the event from 10 a.m. to 1. Rabies vaccinations will be $5 and microchips will be $15. Adoption dogs will also be available.

All funds raised go directly to providing nutrition, shelter and healthcare for the thousands of homeless, abused and neglected animals PAWS provides care for on an annual basis.
