A massive alligator was hit by a semi truck on Interstate 10 near Tallahassee, Florida.
Earlier this month, a ginormous gator was seen on Interstate 10 near Tallahassee in the middle of the night, the Naples Daily News reported.
The reptile was a whopping 463 pounds and 12 feet long.
Unfortunately, before being captured by a company called Vaughan’s Gators, the alligator was injured after being hit by a semi-truck on the snout.
“I’ve been the trapper here in Leon County since April 2010 and that was the third biggest gator I’ve ever captured,” Vaughan of Vaughan’s Gators told the Naples Daily News.
It was later euthanized due to the severity of its injuries.
