Disney World will be offering hundreds of plant-based options at their restaurants beginning in October 2019.
Disney World announced that more than 400 plant-based food items will be available at their theme parks starting in October.
The new dishes will be made without animal meat, dairy, eggs, or honey.
From comfort-food classics to exciting new dishes for the adventurer in all of us, everyone will find something to delight their taste buds, according to Disney.

Some of the new dishes will include plant-based meat steamed dumplings at Le Cellier at Epcot, crispy tofu seasoned with chili spice at Satu’li Canteen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and plant-based Cashew Cheesecake from California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Guests will be able to tell which menu items are plant-based by a new menu icon -- a green leaf.
“We’re always looking for ways to bring more flavor, innovation, and creativity to the Disney dining experience – and guest feedback is first on the menu when we evolve our menus and develop new dishes”, Disney officials stated via their blog.
For Disneyland guests, plant-based choices will be available in spring 2020.
