At about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, three Niceville residents were involved in a traffic crash near the intersection of Magnolia Plantation Avenue and State Road 20. All were injured, one critically.
BLUEWATER BAY — Three people were injured in a Wednesday afternoon traffic crash, one was left in critical condition.
According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday Sarah Christianson, a 40-year-old Niceville resident, was stopped at a stop sign on Magnolia Plantation Avenue with 12-year-old passenger Matthew Christianson, also of Niceville.
At about the same time, Niceville's Charles Chavous, who is 38, was traveling east on State Road 20.
Christianson violated Chavous' right-of-way and turned left onto State Road 20 where the vehicles collided, the release said.
Sarah Christianson was critically injured, while Matthew Christianson and Chavous sustained minor injuries. The Christiansons were taken for Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, FHP said.
Alcohol wasn't a factor in the wreck and all three were wearing seat belts.
