Richard A Barnes, 80, of Laurel Hill, passed away November 7, 2022, at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview surrounded by family.
Richard was a man of God and a hard worker; a skilled craftsman and he truly loved his family. He was generous and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.
Richard is preceded in death by his wife Joan.
He is survived by his three children: William Mcrea (wife Cara) of St. Augustine, Del Mcrea (wife Michelle) of Panama City, and Rickie Trahan (husband Perry) of Crestview; 5 grandchildren: William, Katie, Logan, Mariah, and Kristina; and 6 great-grandchildren: Jax, Piper, Rosemary, Hollis, Ellianna, and Kyla Grace.
Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton handling arrangements.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2022, at First Lutheran Church of Florala, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Lutheran Church of Florala, AL.
Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton is in charge of arrangements.
