Mr. Earnest Doyle Mosley, age 82, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023. He was born on January 19, 1941 in Bruce, Mississippi to James Dennis Mosley and Audie Bailey Mosley.

Mr. Mosley was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He was church of Christ by faith and attended Destin church of Christ. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He owned and operated Mosley Manufacturing and Machine Works.

Doyle's love for Jesus was clearly seen by all who knew him. Faith and family were everything, and he always gave glory to God for his blessings and success. He was a wonderful writer, and had two books published about his faith and family. His favorite hobby was flying, a skilled pilot for over 50 years.

He had the sweetest relationship and loved each of his grandchildren, spending much of his time traveling to see them. Doyle never met a stranger. Any conversation always led to him sharing his love for Jesus. He was our rock and has left a legacy of faith, love and devotion. He will be immensely missed.

Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by his father and mother; and his loving wife of 58 years, Linda Kaye Mosley.

Mr. Mosley is survived by one son, Jimmy Mosley and wife Cathy of Santa Rosa Beach; three daughters, Deborah Brownlee and husband Stewart of Missouri, Dana Hogue and husband Lee of Arkansas, and Kristy Laird and husband Kevin of South Carolina; one brother, Lee Mosley of Greenville, Mississippi; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Historic Gulf Cemetery; 1466 County Road 393 South, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459.

Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
