Kevin Justy, a retired MSgt Air Force veteran, died late in the evening on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 after a brief illness. He was 68 years old.

Kevin was born on October 29, 1954 in Elyria, Ohio, to parents Richard and Suzanne Justy. He graduated from Midview High School, Grafton, Ohio, in 1973. Kevin enlisted into the Air Force at the age of 18 and went on to serve for 24 years. He specialized in Aerospace Control & Warning Systems until his retirement at Eglin Air Force Base in 1997. While assigned at Wallace Air Station in the Philippines, he met Seny, and they soon became engaged. They married in 1978 in Duluth, Minnesota.

In his free time, Kevin enjoyed taking walks, building model airplanes, reading books pertaining to history and war, and visiting with family. He was also a devoted Catholic and attended church every week.

Kevin is survived by Seny (Nadela), his wife of 44 years of Niceville, Florida, their two children, Jeffrey (Heather) Justy of Crestview, Florida and Christine (Randall) McKee of Charleston, SC and his grandchildren, Audie and Aurora McKee. Kevin is also survived by his brother, Paul (Kathy) Justy of Grafton, Ohio, and their Aunts Tess Reisinger and Marge Cordy of Ohio, and niece, Kim Armendariz of Omaha, Nebraska.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Suzanne Justy, sister Barbara (BJ) Whitmore, brother Michael Justy, stepson Robert Nadela and his grandparents John and Ann Justavick and Stacey and Anna Cordy. Also preceding Kevin, was his beloved canine companion, Shyla.

A memorial service will be hosted on June 1st at 11:00 AM at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church in Niceville, followed by a reception. Visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kevin's memory to the church and/or the CJD foundation at cjdfoundation.org.

Private family inurnment will be held at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Grafton, Ohio.
