It is utterly incomprehensible to me that the Okaloosa County Commission inevitably favors the private landowners of Holiday Isle rather than the publicly owned 3-mile beach on Okaloosa Island respecting deposits of sand dredged from East Pass.

Were it not for the Pass the dredged sand would have accrued on Okaloosa Island. The county is willing to utilize taxpayer dollars to accommodate Holiday Isle to the detriment of Okaloosa Island. One has to wonder what powerful force is in play to bring about this unfair result.
