Lee Harmon of Destin wants to know how you can own something that washes in and washes out with tides and storms.
In response to the gentleman who wrote, "How can ’private’ not be private?“ My response to you is simple: Who gave you and others the right to have "private" beach all the way to the water? Hum?
Could it be that you and others received "quiet title" to the beach, just by filing and paying a filing fee? Without any public scrutiny?

How about the fact that forever, people have gone to the beach without your restrictions! How about the fact that Okaloosa and Walton counties are the only ones in Florida that have given "quiet title" to the beach, all the way to the water? How can you own something that washes in and washes out with tides and storms?
Awaiting your polite response.
