Joey Bianca clobbered four hits to lead Extra Krispy in a 31-20 win over The Craft Bar in the Men’s Recreational Softball League at Morgan Sports Center.

Bianca smacked two homers and two doubles for two RBIs.

Extra Krispy led 12-8 at the end of two innings. Krispy extended the lead with three runs in the fourth and six in the fifth for a 23-16 advantage. Krispy added seven in the sixth and four in the seventh for the win.

Chad Teague cranked out two home runs, a double and a single for two RBIs for Extra Krispy. Jamie DiBenedetto hit a triple, double and two singles for three RBIs and Will Eads hit a home run.

Geoff Brower led Craft Bar with two doubles and three singles for two RBIs. Frank Lozano doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs, and Todd Schrag homered, doubled and singled.

 

Busch Leaguers 30, The Craft Bar 22

Busch Leaguers stepped out to a 16-9 lead in the first two innings and then picked up five in the third for a 21-14 showing. In the bottom of the fourth, Busch Leaguers put the game away with nine runs.

Colby Crumb hit a home run and four singles for three RBIs for Busch Leaguers. Jake Smalls hit two homers, a double and a single for two RBIs, and Ransom Early homered, doubled and hit two singles for an RBI. Tate DeShong also cranked out a home run.

Jeremy Bullock slapped a home run, double and a single for three RBIs for Craft Bar. Geoff Brower homered, doubled and singled for one RIB, and Chad Betts tripled, doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs. Shawn Brown and Joe Kerns also belted home runs.
