Chris Edmondson connected for six hits to lead Island Wings in a 26-25 win in extra innings over Emerald Coast Chiropractic in the Coed Division I Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Edmondson ripped three doubles and three singles for three RBIs.

At the end of two innings, Emerald Coast led 7-4. In the top of third, Island Wings stepped into the lead momentarily with seven runs. Emerald Coast got the advantage back in the bottom half with six runs for a 13-11 game.

In the top of the fourth, Island Wings scored eight runs to take lead 19-13. Island Wings stayed on top right until the seventh inning, when Emerald Coast tied it up to force the game into extra innings.

In the top of the eighth, Island Wings scored two runs and then held Emerald Coast to one in the bottom for the win.

Todd Schrag smacked a home run, two doubles and two singles for two RBIs for Island Wings. Jennifer Bazylak connected for two triples and three RBIs, and Matt Clayton hit two homers.

Todd Preston led Emerald Coast Chiropractic with five singles for three RBIs. Kathy Whiddon hit three singles for an RBI, and Shawn Wood hit four singles for five RBIs.


TayGray 15, HarborWalk Marina 3

TayGray dominated taking a 7-2 lead in the first two innings. By the end of three, TayGray was on top 13-3. They managed to put the game away in five innings.

Josh Snyder hit the cycle for TayGray with a single, double, triple and a home run for three RBIs. Austin Jessup cracked out two home runs and two singles for three RBIs, while Tom Pitroff belted two homers and a double for four RBIs. Tiffany Werner hit two singles.

Brian Martinez doubled and singled for an RBI for HarborWalk. Eric Howell connected for two singles for an RBI.


Ace in the Hole 18, Buffalo Wild Wings 16

At the end of two innings, Ace was up 7-3. In the bottom of the third, Wild Wings evened the score with four runs. In the fourth, both team put up two runs. In the fifth, Ace pulled away with six runs while Wild Wings only put up two. With time running out in the sixth, Ace scored three and Wild Wings came up short with five runs.

Nikki Stewart led Ace in the Hole with four singles. Ron Norville tripled, doubled and singled for two RBIs and Justin Abdo hit three singles.

Blain Watkins knocked two homers and a triple for five RBIs for Wild Wings. Colby Wells hit two inside the park home runs for two RBIs, and Taylor Campbell doubled and singled.


2 Brothers Remodeling 18, Coastal Beach Service 16

2 Brothers started strong, scoring the 10-run limit in the first inning. By the end of three, 2 Brothers led 13-4.

Coastal picked up three runs in the fourth and two in the fifth but still trailed 13-9. 2 Brothers picked up four more runs in the bottom of the fifth for a 17-9 advantage. Coastal scored seven runs combined in the last two innings and 2 Brothers one for the win.

Micah Priest doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs for 2 Brothers. Christina Theison doubled and singled for two RBIs, and Nelson Campbell doubled and hit two singles.

Brandon Patzig was tops for Coastal with a home run, triple, double and a single for three RBIs. Travis Carroll hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs, and Steffani Saddler hit two singles.
