Shawn Wood connected for four hits to lead Emerald Coast Chiropractic in a 28-8 win over Backstreet Ballers in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Wood belted a triple, double and two singles for three RBIs.

Backstreet led 6-5 at the end of the first inning. In the next two innings, Chiropractic pulled ahead 12-6. In the fourth, Chiropractic scored six and then rallied in the fifth for 10 runs.

Tom Bassillo tripled and hit two doubles for three RBIs for Chiropractic. Jess Whidden doubled and hit two singles for an RBI.

Justin Hutchinson tripled and singled for an RBI for Backstreet. Laura Cooper hit two singles for an RBI.

 

Emerald Coast Alarms 12, Backstreet Ballers 9

At the end of the first inning, the game was tied at 3-3. By the end of four, ECA led 6-3. In the fifth, ECA picked up six more runs for the win.

Bryan Blyden doubled and hit two singles for ECA. Matt Wright and Daniel Atkins each hit three singles.

Justin Hutchinson slapped a home run and a single for Backstreet. Mike Ingram doubled and singled.

 

Pool Shark Softball 22, Fender Collision 6

Pool Shark jumped out to an early 10-1 lead in the first two innings. In the third, Pool Shark picked up four more runs and then exploded for eight in the fourth for the win.

Michael Robbins knocked in four runs for Pool Shark on a triple, double and a single. Anthony Bartolo tripled and singled for an RBI and Jaymeson Foerster tripled and hit two doubles for two RBIs.

Chelsea Womack and Todd Womack each doubled and singled for an RBI for Fender.
