Jennifer Phillips knocked in four runs to lead TayGray Photography in a 14-6 win over Bradley Textile Industrial in the Division I Coed Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Phillips clobbered two doubles and a single for four RBIs.

TayGray stepped out to an 8-2 lead in the first two innings. Bradley came back with two in the fourth and two in the fifth for an 8-6 game.

In the bottom of the fifth, TayGray knocked in six runs to pull away 14-6. Both teams went scoreless the next couple of innings with TayGray taking the win.

Michael Haynes smacked a home run and two singles for three RBIs for TayGray. Tom Pitroff ripped to triples and a single for an RBI.

Corey Griffith and Linda Griffith each hit two singles for Bradley. Bobby Griffith batted a double for two RBIs.



Emerald Coast Chiropractic 17, Emerald Coast Alarms 5

Emerald Coast Chiropractic started strong scoring five runs in the top of the first and second innings for a 10-0 lead. Emerald Coast Alarms collected one run in the bottom of the first.

In the third, Chiropractic scored two and Alarms one. In the next two innings, Chiropractic put up five runs while Alarms could only muster three.

Shawn Wood was the big stick for Chiropractic with three triples and a double for six RBIs. Jessica Whidden doubled and hit two singles for an RBI and Todd Preston belted two homers, a double and a single for four RBIs.

Brandon Blyden tripled and hit two singles for two RBIs for Alarms. Frank Kaeser doubled for an RBI and Amy Collins singled.



Sandy Bottoms 17, No Affiliation 3

No Affiliation took an early 3-2 lead in the first inning.

After a scoreless second inning, Sandy Bottoms scored the 10-run limit in the top of the third inning. Sandy Bottoms went on to score four in the fourth and one in the fifth for a run-ruling on the game.

Michael Ogden led Sandy Bottoms with two home runs, a triple and a single. Steve Cline doubled and hit two singles and Sami Unterseh connected for three singles.

Zach Craigen hit three singles for No Affiliation, while Jess Ramm hit two singles and Jolie Kremser one single.


The remaining games on Wednesday were cancelled due to weather.
