Shawn Woods knocked in six runs to lead Emerald Coast Chiropractic in a 23-2 win over Island Wings in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Woods ripped one over the fence, plus hit an inside the park home run as well as a triple and a single.

Chiropractic jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the first two innings, then brought in seven more in the third. In the fourth inning, Chiropractic scored five.

Island Wings scored their two runs in the fifth.

Lee Pardue belted two triples and two doubles for two RBIs for Chiropractic. Don Edwards clobbered a home run, a triple and a double for five RBIs, and Beth Henry tripled and singled for an RBI.

Matt Claytor tripled and singled for Island Wings. Lauren Cramer doubled for two RBIs, and Chris Edmonsond doubled.


Ace in the Hole 19, Emerald Coast Alarms 7

Ace led 7-4 at the end of two innings. In the third, Ace added two runs and then four more in the fourth. In the fifth, Ace scored six runs for a 12-run ruling on the game.

Tyler Stahlhut was tops for Ace with a home run, double and two singles for three RBIs. Andy Collins hit an inside the park home run, double and two singles for two RBIs, while Rebbeca Baker hit two singles.

Nic Reimer connected for a triple, double and a single for Emerald Coast Alarms. Matt Wright doubled and singled for three RBIs, and Katie Wright singled for two RBIs.


Emerald Coast Chiropractic 24, Fender Collision 10

Chiropractic put 16 runs in the books in the first two innings and then added eight in the fourth to put the game away in five.

Fender scored four in the first and six in the fifth.

Shawn Woods hit the cycle with a home run, triple, two doubles and a single for nine RBIs for Chiropractic. Don Edwards doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs, and Aaron Bradley hit three singles for three RBIs.

David Beard slapped a homer for Fender, plus a double and two singles for four RBIs. Kolton Riggs and Ashlyn Stanford each hit a double for an RBI.
