Backstreet Ballers came from behind to beat Navigators 22-13 in the Coed Division IV Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Down 11-5 after three innings, Backstreet started a slow come back in the fourth inning with two runs.

In the top of the fifth, Backstreet exploded for the 10-run limit to take the lead 17-11.

Backstreet scored five more runs in the sixth, while Navigators picked up one run in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Justin Hutchinson was tops for Backstreet with a triple and three singles. Morgan Higgins connected for three singles, and Jimmy Fleur hit two singles.

Bart Hardy led Navigators with a triple and three singles. Rich Ritnour hit three singles and J.R. Gross hit two singles.


The Track 20, No Affiliation 10

The Track started with a bang scoring the 10-run limit in the first inning. The Track went on to score two in third, one in the fourth and seven in the fifth.

No Affiliation picked up five runs in the first and five in the fourth.

Lee Major and Jordan Thiesson each doubled and hit two singles for The Track.

Mike Ingram belted a home run and two singles for No Affiliation. Zach Cragin doubled and singled and Ethan Randolph doubled and hit two singles.



Kona Brew Crew 18, Whiplash 10

Big hitters for Kona were Madison Phillips, Michelle Eubanks and Otis Fowler each with three RBIs.

Tommy Whitfield and Ashlyn Newby each had three RBIs for Whiplash, while Taylor Shipley knocked in two runs.


2 Birds Coffee 21, Fender’s Collision 14

Carrie Curry was credited with four RBIs for 2 Birds, while Danny Owens and Kelcie Faulk each knocked in three runs.

Ashlyn Sanford and Laura Mosely each had three RBIs for Fender’s, while Todd Womack knocked in two runs.
