Todd Preston pounded out four hits to lead Emerald Coast Chiropractic in a 23-15 win over Pool Sharks in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Preston hit two homers in the game, one a grand slam in the fourth, plus two doubles for a total of six RBIs.

Chiropractic stepped out to an 8-2 lead in the first two innings. Pool Sharks picked up one in the third.

In the fourth, both teams scored six runs. In the last couple of innings, Chiropractic scored three in the fifth and six in the sixth.

Teresa Imdieke slapped an inside-the-park home run and four singles for four RBIs for Chiropractic. Shawn Woods hit the cycle with a homer, triple, double and two singles for three RBIs.

Jason Young was tops for Pool Sharks with a double and three singles for five RBIs. Brandon Wilson doubled and hit three singles for an RBI and Catie Moser connected for two singles.

Ace in the Hole 23, Hancock Whitney Bank 19

Hancock took the early lead with seven runs in the first and five in the second for a 12-9 advantage.

In the third, the lead started to slip away. Hancock scored three and Ace five for a one-run game.

In the top of the fourth, Hancock added one run for a 16-14 lead.

In the bottom half, Ace exploded for nine runs and the go-ahead.

With time running out in the game, Hancock scored three runs in the top of the fifth.

Andy Collins was the top batter for Ace with two home runs and a single for five RBIs. Tyler Stahlhut homered and hit two doubles for four RBIs, and Nikki Stewart tripled and singled.

Dave Bazylak knocked in six runs for Hancock on a home run, double and a single. Matt Campbell doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs, and Jen Bazylak doubled and hit two singles.
