Out of 41 boats entered in the Destin Cobia World Championships at Harbor Docks, the Miss Laney hauled in the largest in the more than a month-long fishing tournament.

JP Whibbs pulled in an 87.86-pounder for first place overall.

Second place went to David “Goose” Strong and his 76.2-pounder caught aboard the Papi with Capt. Kevin Moak.

The Lucky Dog with Capt. Cody Gray finished in third place overall with a 75.8-pounder reeled in by Chris Davis.
