Adult Flag Football
The city of Destin’s Adult Flag Football League will begin on Feb. 12 at the Morgan Sports Center.
Team fee is $300 and must be paid before the team is placed on the schedule. The last day to register a team is Feb. 6.
Individual fees are $40 to participate. A $20 discount is offered to Destin residents with a valid driver’s license. Individual fees must be paid before a player is eligible to play. All players must be at least 17 to participate.

The 11th annual Frosty 5K is set to go at 9 a.m. Jan. 25 at Saint Mary School in Fort Walton Beach.
Entry fee is $35. Packet pickup and race day registration is in front of the Parish Life Center at 165 Coral Drive from 4-6 p.m. Jan. 24 and beginning at 7:30 a.m. on race day.
Following the race there will be a Frosty 5K party with hot food, massages and live music.

Youth Spring Soccer
Registration for youth spring soccer is currently underway until Feb. 20 for ages 3-15 at the Destin Community Center.
The fee is $40 with a $15 discount offered to Destin residents with a valid driver’s license.
All games are held on Friday nights at Morgan Sports Center. Registration can be completed in person at the Community Center from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Fridayl. Early registration is recommended as space is limited. Coaches and team sponsors are needed.

The 28th annual Valentine’s 8K “Kiss ’em to the Finish” Road Race is set to roll out at 9 a.m. on Feb. 8 at The Track Recreation Center in Destin.
Early registration fee through Jan. 30 is $23 for Northwest Florida Track Club members and $25 for non-members. Couple team entry fee is $40. From Jan. 31 to Feb. 7 cost is $30 and $45 for couples and $30 and $50 for couples on race day.
The flat, fast 8K course starts at the The Track parking lot on Airport Road, runs though Indian Bayou, returns and finishes at The Track. Water stations are located at 2 and 3 mile points, with each mile marked.
The top five couples will receive special awards recognizing their participation. Couples will be exempt from receiving open awards. The couple teams must register together and cross the finish line together to be eligible for awards. Couples must consist of a male and female runner and do not need to enter their age/birthdate on the registration form.
A post race party will be hosted by The Back Porch.
