Progress Bank opens office in Inlet Beach

Special to The Sun

Progress Bank recently marked its 10th anniversary of serving clients across the North and Central Alabama and Destin areas with a shareholder dividend, CD special and in-branch activities, as well as the announcement of the ninth office, which will be located in Inlet Beach.

“As a native of Walton County, I am excited to lead the bank’s expansion into the county,” said Dewayne Youngblood, market president for Okaloosa and Walton counties. “We chose Inlet Beach for our new location based on the tremendous growth the area has seen, which we know will continue for years to come. By choosing 30Avenue as our home base, we hope to provide a convenient, easily accessible location to our customers in the area.”

The Inlet Beach office ribbon cutting will be held at 11 a.m. March 5 at 30Avenue, 12805 US Highway 98 East. The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce will participate along with bank officials. The event will be marked with refreshments, entertainment and door prizes.

“30Avenue is proud to be chosen by Progress Bank for their first location in Walton County," said Bryan Corr, developer of 30 Avenue. "We look forward to being a part of their growth as we custom build a stand-alone flagship facility for them. Progress Bank will occupy a current storefront within 30Avenue while their beautiful new facility is under construction.”

The office will be full-service, providing both consumer and commercial services Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Progress Bank also has a nearby office in Destin at 35008 Emerald Coast Parkway.
