Ground broken for SRB’s Topsail Apartments

Dominion Partners recently broke ground for the $23-million Topsail Apartments in Santa Rosa Beach. The 250 “Class-A” apartments are in the Topsail Planned Unit Development by St. Joe. The luxury apartments are in Santa Rosa Beach at the intersection of U.S. Highway 98 and West Hewett Road approximately two miles from Sandestin Resort in Miramar Beach.

Dominion, headquartered in suburban Birmingham, Ala., is known for developing and managing upscale garden-style, multifamily communities and active retirement communities.

According to Al Worthington, CEO of Dominion, this will be Dominion’s first joint venture with Mesa Capital Partners of Atlanta.

Completion of the Mediterranean-style Topsail Apartments is expected within 12 months. The apartments will include one, two and three bedroom units with average rentable space of 996 square feet. The community amenities will include a clubhouse, resort style pool, covered outdoor pavilion area with fireplace and bar, car wash area and covered parking.

Dominion places a great emphasis on health and wellness and will provide a 1,500-square-foot health facility with multiple workout regimens within the community clubhouse.

In addition to Mesa Capital Partners, other team members include general contractors Multicon Construction, LLC, of Atlanta; construction management company Maxus Construction of Birmingham; and Atlanta architects Pucciano & English.
