More than a dozen Realtors have completed their training towards the Florida Military Specialist Certification designed to educate Realtors on how best to work with military service members for their housing needs. The Emerald Coast Association of Realtors is the first Realtor Association in the panhandle to offer this course.

The Florida Military Specialist Certification allows both real estate agents and property managers to become more adept at working with the unique needs of the military. Attendees learned about financing, ranks, and the special needs of some military veterans, including post-traumatic stress disorder, plus much more.

Now that the training is complete, each Realtor who participated in the class will submit their application for the formal completion of the certification process. In the next few weeks, this first graduating class will be officially recognized as Florida Military Specialists. ECAR is proud to support the military and their families and offer Realtors the opportunity to educate themselves to allow them to better help their clients and customers.
