Emerald Coast Open House changes from third Sunday

In an effort to better serve the public, the Great Emerald Coast Open House event has changed from the third Sunday of each month to every Sunday — or any day that’s convenient to buyers. Open houses conducted by Realtors of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors across the Emerald Coast are now searchable on www.EmeraldCoastOpenHouse.com on any day of the week, not just the third Sunday of the month.

“Not everyone can attend an open house on one Sunday a month,” said ECAR President Jan Hooks. “Searching for a home needs to be convenient for the buyer, including attending open houses. Realtors recognized that need and responded.”

ECAR Realtors can enter their scheduled open houses into the ECAR Multiple Listing Service. The public can search open houses on any day at www.EmeraldCoastOpenHouse.com. Search criteria include by listing price, location, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and by date.

“For buyers, the search is very similar to searching for a home to buy,” stated Hooks. “The listing information will be included in the open house information. For buyers not currently working with a Realtor, this is a good opportunity to find a Realtor.”
