Henderson Park Inn selected to be part of new hotel collection

Henderson Park Inn, 2700 Scenic Hwy. 98 East in Destin, has been named by Southern Living to its prestigious list of resorts, hotels and inns in the publication’s Southern Living Hotel Collection.
“This designation means we have the Southern Living stamp of approval,” said Ryan Olin, innkeeper at Henderson Park Inn.
Southern Living Publisher Greg Schumann says three fourths of their readers get their travel information from Southern Living. The publication hopes to capitalize on its relationship with their subscribers who not only read the magazine, but live the lifestyle.
Member hotels are vetted by the magazine’s editors and pay a fee to be part of the collection. The properties are all four and five star level and are chosen because they shine in one or more aspects of the magazine’s core areas, including food, architecture and landscape.
“We have a spectacular locale with 35 uniquely furnished rooms all overlooking the waters of northwest Florida’s Emerald Coast. Our attention to detail and guest services all make our inn uniquely qualified to be part of this collection,” said Olin.
Henderson Park Inn joins other notable southern members including Barnsley Gardens Resort, Adairsville, Ga.; Blackberry Farm, Walland, Tenn.; The Hermitage Hotel, Nashville; and Monmouth Historic Inn, Natchez, Miss.
