Ribbon cutting celebrates Mold Testing Sciences

Destin Area Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors gathered Jan. 8 to celebrate new Chamber member Mold Testing Sciences with a ribbon cutting.

Shari Wierville, Certified Indoor Environmentalist and owner of Mold Testing Sciences, is a mold assessor with more than 14 years of experience in the local area. She inspects and tests residential and commercial properties for high concentrations of mold. If mold is found, she can create a protocol for a mold remediation company to follow.

According to the EPA and the Mayo Clinic, mold has the potential to negatively affect health. It can trigger asthma, sinusitis, eye irritations, nose irritations, throat irritations, memory loss, and more.
