Inn receives top TripAdvisor ranking for third year

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, has released its annual list of the Top Hotels for Romance in the United States. For the third year, Henderson Park Inn is among the top properties chosen through the site’s traveler reviews.

Henderson Park Inn, in Destin is known for offering privacy and luxury on a scale unlike anything else along the coast. This luxury, boutique hotel has become a nationally recognized spot for destination weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries and couples getaways.  Located adjacent to Henderson Beach State Park, this 35-room, adults-only, New England-styled property offers breathtaking views of more than a mile of undisturbed white sand beaches and stunning emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards are based on feedback from those who have stayed at the included hotels and given them the highest romantic stamp of approval.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with wine and chocolates, and each day wake up to a complimentary gourmet breakfast at their restaurant, Beach Walk Café, complimentary cocktail hour each afternoon at sunset, as well as complimentary beach service and bicycles for exploring the area. For the ultimate romantic touch, guests can enjoy “Toes in the Sand” private dining at the water’s edge. Additional amenities include mini-refrigerators in the lobby stocked with complimentary bottled water, soft drinks and candy bars, plus a cappuccino and espresso machine, and complimentary DVD rentals.

Rooms and suites at Henderson Park Inn feature private baths and terraces overlooking the beach, Keurig coffee maker, mini-refrigerator and microwave oven. Some rooms also include fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. The on-site restaurant, Beach Walk Café, is the only waterfront fine dining restaurant in Destin and was named to OpenTable.com’s Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants for 2013.
