Lucy Buffett and LuLu’s team visit Destin

Work on the Lulu’s restaurant in Destin is well on its way, ahead of the expected Summer opening.

Lucy Buffett and her Gulf Shores LuLu’s Management team made a visit to their new Destin location. LuLu’s new restaurant is currently under construction and expected to open this summer along the Choctawhatchee Bay next to Legendary Marine at the foot of the Mid-Bay Bridge.

“We’re going to spread the Gumbo Love in Destin,” said Lucy Buffett, sister of famous singer Jimmy Buffett. “All it needs is some great food and fun. I’m committed to providing an excellent and authentic Gulf Coast experience for all of my guests. That has always been one of the keys to our success.”

At their Gulf Shores location in Alabama, LuLu’s has an annual economic impact in excess of $20 million dollars along with its high-profile community involvement and philanthropy. Buffett intends to have the same impact in Destin beginning with the creation of more than 200 jobs, along with the intention of the same active community participation and support.
