Realtor Sam Douangdara was born in Laos and moved to Utah in 1979. She then joined the military in 1994 and was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base for 10 years and is ow a retired veteran.

Douangdara loves this area so much she decided to stay here and build a real estate business. She bought her first home when she was 20 years old. She obtained her real estate license in 2004 and started buying and flipping properties.

Douangdara works mostly with investors in foreclosed or distressed properties.  Her specialty is buying foreclosures, fixing them up and reselling. She sees this as helping and improving neighborhoods. She is trying to save each neighborhood, one house at a time.
