New restaurant concept debuts in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

New locally owned restaurant, The Beach House, will officially open for business on Monday, April 13.
Located on the beach in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, the two-story beachfront restaurant originated on the Emerald Coast in 1985 as The Elephant Walk. The Beach House will be an ultra casual lunch and dinner concept created by several local “Foodies,” including long-time restaurateurs, Ron Green, of The Another Broken Egg concept, and Gene Speni, franchisee of 12 Bonefish Grills throughout the region. David Valentine, a restaurateur with over 25 years of industry experience, will be the managing partner of the operation.
Featuring the freshest seafood delivered daily, the casual eatery will feature coastal cool cuisine including peel-and-eat shrimp, fresh fish, chicken sandwiches, salads and a small plates and tapas menu that will change every two weeks. The first floor of the restaurant and outdoor patio area will be the main dining area, with the bar area being redesigned for optimal views of the Gulf of Mexico, giving guests incredible experiences while sipping their favorite cocktail, glass of wine or a 32-degree cold brew.
The expansive panoramic gulf view from the upstairs, “Sky Room” makes The Beach House an ideal location to host events including corporate dinners, family reunions, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, or any special occasion. Those needing 3,000 square feet for private entertainment can contact Events Coordinator, Leah Valentine, at events@thebeachhousesd.com.
