Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa honored with two awards from Hilton Worldwide

Special to The Log

Northwest Florida’s Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa garnered a number of prestigious awards from national industry trade publications in 2014 and in the fourth quarter received two especially significant recognitions from Hilton Worldwide — the “Make it Right” Award and the “Make it Right” Most Improved Award.

The goal for Hilton Hotels and Resorts team members, including those at Hilton Sandestin Beach, is to consistently deliver service so that every guest feels cared for, valued and respected. The “Make it Right” program is a way to measurably show the commitment to serving Hilton guests and delivering the Brand Promise with the ultimate goal of positively impacting hotel Service And Loyalty Tracking (SALT) scores — an email survey sent to a random list of guests to gauge the satisfaction of their stay.

To achieve the “Make it Right” Award and the “Make it Right” Most Improved Award, Hilton Sandestin Beach received the highest combined Problem Resolution and Overall Loyalty scores on SALT, and the most combined improvement, quarter on quarter, out of all hotels in the Americas regions with more than 500 rooms.

“We’re ecstatic to have won these awards from Hilton Corporate," said Gary Brielmayer, Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa general manager. "To be recognized as the number one property in Q4 out of all the well-deserving Hilton properties is an achievement we can really hang our hats on. Our team is truly committed to outstanding service and loyalty and we hope to continue to excel in this area and bring home another award in 2015.”

Over the last three years, Hilton Sandestin Beach has spent more than $30 million on transformations touching every aspect of the property, from 40,000 square feet of award-winning meeting space and 602 guest rooms to public areas, Serenity by the Sea Spa and restaurant space.
