Top producers at Crye-Leike Coastal

Elliot Marcus, broker for Crye-Leike Coastal Realty, has announced the Top Producer in Closed Sales Volume for the month of June was the John Paulsen Group and the Top Listing Agent for the month of June was Sherry Edmundson.

The John Paulsen Group consists of John Paulsen, co-owner of Crye-Leike Coastal Realty, and fellow agent, Suzanne Sweatt. He brings his proven leadership and business savvy to the Crye-Leike Coastal Realty team. With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience with one of Memphis' largest printing firms, Paulsen has the vision and knowledge of what it takes to successfully market and manage a business. He has received numerous sales awards, including the Prestigious Award for Sales from Memphis Sales Executive Club. 

Initially, Paulsen established the Crye-Leike Coastal Realty as a franchisee in real estate sales division. However, he soon realized the market for a professional and customer-oriented property management division. This led him to launch Destin Getaways Vacation Rentals in April 2003. His expansive ties in the Destin community as well as the Southeast provide networking connections that have allowed his Destin office to prosper throughout the past 12 years.

Personal experience in real estate led Suzanne Sweatt to a Realtor’s license. Having lived on both coasts, in Europe and in Hawaii, she knows real estate from the buyer’s and seller’s point of view.

Formerly an academic, Sweatt holds a Doctor of Arts in English and takes pride in assisting customers and facilitating their real estate buying or selling experiences. She is a member of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors (ECAR), Florida Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Sweatt was a participant in ECAR’s Leadership Group of 2008. She has served on the ECAR Public Policy and Professional Development committees.

Sherry Edmundson, Realtor with Crye-Leike Coastal Realty, brings many years of real estate experience to the Emerald Coast. She began her real estate career in her home town of Memphis, Tenn., in 1985. She had a vacation home in Destin, and when her husband David retired, they moved here permanently in 2004. Her customer base includes many Memphis referrals and repeat customers.

Sweatt's experience as a community volunteer led to successful endeavors in fundraising, strategic planning, organizational leadership, and executive board positions for several inner-city non-profit agencies in Memphis. Her ability to work with a diverse group of individuals has been invaluable in her real estate career.

She is a member of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors, the Florida Association of Realtors, and is a repeated Top Producer for Crye-Leike Coastal Realty.
