Going up! Construction at The Henderson is in full swing

The Henderson, a Salamander Beach & Spa Resort, is scheduled to open in summer 2016, according to their website.

Located on nearly 1.5 miles of beach at 200 Henderson Resort Way in Destin, the 171-room resort will feature sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and pristine dunes.

It is also adjacent to the 208-acre, environmentally protected Henderson Beach nature preserve, which will offer guests both a sense of privacy and various activities.
