Pat Fisher joins LAH Real Estate

Pat Fisher, a long time Emerald Coast resident, has joined LAH Real Estate at the Beach on 30A. She has been a real estate broker since 1996, and established and opened Inlet Beach Realty in 1997, which generated over $4 million in sales, the first and only year open.

Wanting to be in Destin, Fisher worked for RE/MAX Southern in 1998 and was named to the President’s Club for sales. In the fall of 1999 she opened Pat’s Porch Art, Antiques and Home Decor and another real estate company, Discount Beach Realty, all in one location in Miramar Beach. Both those businesses closed at the end of 2007 due to the very poor economy in the area.

Fisher has one daughter, Kris Fisher-Altiere, married to John Altiere, and has a family of five with Fisher's three grandchildren, Riley, Charley and Jake. Now that she has moved to Santa Rosa Beach they will be visiting quite often.

Now with over 20 years experience in real estate, Fisher is well versed in both residential and commercial real estate. She spent the last few years taking care of her mother, who passed away in December last year. She has always maintained an active broker's license, sometimes working for herself and sometimes working for others. In 2010 she was hired as the qualifying broker for a condominium on Holiday Isle and two months later experienced the BP Oil Spill; the real estate business suffered tremendously.

Prior to that she spent eight years managing long-term residential rentals and four years managing a commercial shopping center in Fort Walton Beach. Since 1994, Fisher has been involved in the building and sales of a number of custom homes with area developers and worked closely with several local contractors. She has been helping sellers “stage” their homes to sell since 2005.

Fisher is a 20 year active member of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors and past member of The Women’s Council of Realtors. She is a graduate of the Florida Realtor Institute (GRI) and earned her At Home with Diversity certification in 2009.
