After an extensive national search, the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors Board of Directors has selected A. Keith Dean as its new leader. Dean has 15 years of solid experience in association management, most recently serving as executive director of the Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association, based in Tallahassee. Dean earned a Bachelor of Science and a Post-graduate degree in Accounting from Florida State University.
ECAR President Sam Kinkaid said, “The Board is delighted to welcome Keith Dean as our new leader. We believe he will be a unique asset to our organization. He’s a widely respected association management professional who is also a CPA. We are confident that Keith will deepen and enrich ECAR’s impact on our members and our profession.”
Dean will take the CEO post effective Oct. 19, 2015.
“I am thrilled to partner with ECAR’s dedicated board, committed staff and critical partners in service to our collective future. ECAR provides the ideal leadership opportunity to marry my passion for the real estate industry and a deep respect for protecting the Realtors® trademark and the profession’s ideals,” Dean said.
