Law firm expands with new attorneys and new office

Emmanuel Sheppard and Condon has announced two new attorneys and an additional location for their law practice.

Van P. Geeker, an attorney with the firm, will open the firm’s new office in Destin, as the century-old firm expands their Pensacola practice. Geeker will lead the firm’s Estate, Trust, Probate, and Tax Law services at that location. He is a graduate of both the Florida State University College of Law and the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary (LL.M., Taxation).

Joining the new Destin office is attorney Scot Copeland, who comes to the Emmanuel Sheppard and Condon team after managing his own practice for five years. Copeland received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Law School and will serve clients with needs in the Business, Corporate, and Banking Law, as well as Contract and Commercial Litigation arenas.

Also joining the Emmanuel Sheppard and Condon firm is Galen Novotny, who focuses his practice on Family, Guardianship and Criminal Law for clients in the Pensacola community as well as the firm’s new office in Destin. Novotny earned his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.
