Newman-Dailey named to Top 100 list at number 31.

The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced two of its corporate members, Newman-Dailey Resort Properties and SimpleHR, were recently named in Florida Trend magazine as one of Florida’s Best Companies To Work For in the Best Small Companies category.

To participate, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 people in Florida and have been in operation at least one year. Companies that chose to participate underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Making the list at number 19, SimpleHR delivers comprehensive human resource solutions and administrative relief for busy business owners who wish to spend more time on their core business and less time on employer obligations.

“Our entire staff is excited and proud to have received this honor, especially as a three-time recipient of this award from Florida Trend,” said Dave Jefferson, vice president of operations and 2016 chairman of the board for the chamber. “SimpleHR began in Destin and our entire team has built this organization into what it is today. Our clients and our business partners see our dedication, enthusiasm and pride in our services and products.”

At number 31, Newman-Dailey is well-respected in the vacation rental business for its staff and philosophy of excellence. The team at Newman-Dailey goes above and beyond to create spectacular experiences for guests.

With a diverse collection of quality properties along the pristine beaches in Destin and South Walton, Newman-Dailey is proud to consistently achieve “excellent” ratings from guests on TripAdvisor and has become the trusted source for family vacation planning.

“We’re honored to be recognized by Florida Trend as one of the best places to work,” said Newman-Dailey Founder and CEO Jeanne Dailey. “When I founded this company in 1985, the goal was to create a company that values its employees, provides exceptional service and upholds the highest ethical practices. Now during our 31st year in business, Newman-Dailey ranked 31 among the best small businesses in the state. It is so rewarding to have a team that helped build this with me, and has shaped our corporate culture, creating a company that is among the best in the state!”

The annual Best Companies list appears in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine. Companies are ranked in small, medium and large employer categories. The Best Companies To Work For In Florida program was created by Florida Trend and Best Companies Group and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council.
