Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate recently announced the hiring of four new agents.

Cristina Sasso, born in Panama, moved to Los Angeles after college and dived into the entertainment industry. She succeeded in acting, filmmaking and photography. During that time, she opened a 5-Star yelp reviewed business ( and worked for some of the top catering and event planners in Los Angeles, honing the art of marketing and design. Today, she lives on the Emerald Coast with the sweetest man ever, and also enjoys a good game of Roller Derby. Sasso is also fluent in Spanish.

“As your real estate agent, my drive is doing what’s needed to get your home sold,” she said.

Blake Jones is a real estate professional who has been in and around real estate most of his life. He comes from two lineages of builders and developers and entered into the industry with a shovel in hand at the age of 14. Jones has a diverse background, from running a million dollar financial services practice at Merrill Lynch that managed families’ personal net worth, to private lending with high net worth individuals for the purposes of real estate financing.

Formally, he has a degree in finance and portfolio management and an MBA with an emphasis in finance. This background helps him not only understand the luxury market, but how a home, or second residence, fits into the financial picture from an investment perspective and how real estate works towards building a legacy. Jones enjoys the challenge of every transaction while examining the details to represent his clients’ best interest. He lives in Watersound Origins with his wife and two children. In their free time, they enjoy the Florida lifestyle: the beach, fishing, golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Van Kilpatrick grew up vacationing on the Emerald Coast and always dreamed of living at the beach. In the summer of 2012, the opportunity arose to make a permanent move to 30A. He and his wife jumped on the chance to live their dream and never looked back. Kilpatrick is a dedicated husband and father of two girls, who can't imagine living anywhere other than the beach.

He is a multiple IronMan triathlon finisher and endurance runner who lives by a "never quit" philosophy. This hard work and never ending dedication toward a goal provides an amazing experience for his clients. When you are ready to live the 30A life, give Kilpatrick a call and let him do all of the hard running for you.

Mendy Geer was born in Texas but raised primarily in Louisiana. She has been married for about 10 years and has one son age 23 and one grand-daughter who is 2. She has an eight year background in sales with most of her experience in Medicare insurance products. She chose a career in sales because she enjoys the rewarding feeling of helping people.

In 2014 the company she worked for had an opening in Florida, so, because she always wanted to live near the beach, she packed her bags and moved. It was the move to Florida that sparked her interest in real estate. She had her house for sale and one week before closing, the deal fell through. She found out later, (after researching and educating herself on her own experience), that her agent was the main reason for the unsuccessful sale of her house. This was her inspiration for obtaining her real estate license.
