Florida Coastal Closing and Escrow expands to 30A
Florida Coastal Closing & Escrow is expanding its business to one of the fastest-growing areas on 30A.
Less than 18 months after opening its first office on 23rd Street in Panama City, Florida Coastal Closing has opened a second location at 9961 E. County Highway 30A in the Alexander at Palm Court development in Seacrest Beach.
“It’s a beautiful location with a great customer base, and we have a lot of experience to bring,” said real estate attorney Keith Carroll, who splits his time between Florida Coastal Closing and the law firm of Denise Hallmon Rowan and Associates, P.A. as a real estate attorney.
Attorney Denise Rowan, the principal of Florida Coastal Closing and DHR & Associates, also splits her time between the two businesses. The expansion is strategic for the real estate closing company as it aims to position itself for growth and success in a growing high-end market.
Real estate attorneys can help negotiate terms of a contract, along with preparation of the purchase and sale agreement and oversight of the closing. The real estate transaction itself is routinely handled by real estate closers that assist with remedying title issues that may arise during a commercial or residential real estate transaction. For example, if there is a judgment against a property, a code enforcement or zoning issue or problems with easements, homeowner associations or subdivision development, those concerns can be cleared up prior to closing.
Denise “Dede” Hallmon Rowan leads Florida Coastal Closing, a Florida-licensed, full-service title, abstract and escrow closing company that handles commercial and residential real estate closings and any issue that arises concerning title. She graduated from Florida State University for undergraduate studies and Emory University for law school. She is a licensed attorney in Florida and Georgia. Through Rowan, Florida Coastal Closing is appointed as an agent for three of the most respected and stable title insurance companies in the country — Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, First American Title and Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Experienced escrow officers Jubal Mathis and Diane Stewart further make up the Florida Coastal Closing team. Stewart is appointed as title agent for First American Title. She and Mathis have a collective experience in the closing industry in excess of 50 years.
Carroll earned his undergrad from West Florida University and his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville. He decided to return to Panama City and build his career at home.
“We love the Panhandle. We love the water and the beach, and our families are here. We want to make a positive impact on the local community and throughout the Panhandle,” he said.
The members of Florida Coastal Closing are actively involved in the Bay County Association of Realtors, Florida Land and Title Association, and Bay County Bar, in addition to routinely giving their time, talent and financial support to various and numerous local charitable and athletic organizations like Junior Achievement Board, St. Andrew Bay Center and Take Stock in Children.
“We want to give back to the community where we grew up,” Carroll said.
