Alley chosen to speak at real estate conference

Special to The Log
Cathy Alley

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty Agent Cathy Alley was selected as one of four agents to speak on the “Insights from Southeast's Top Producer” panel during the first Alabama Residential Real Estate Conference & Expo on May 4 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Hosted by the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Commerce, the conference featured a full day packed with speakers and education — this time for Alabama’s residential agents looking to “climb and conquer.” Jim Lawrence, education director for ACRE, served as the program’s master of ceremonies. Additionally, Lawrence moderated the panel of handpicked agents from around the Southeast.

As one of four on the panel, Alley was chosen because of her productivity along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Nearly 30 years of experience has solidified her among the area’s top agents, both regionally and nationally.

As head of the Cathy Alley Real Estate Team, Alley operates out of Berkshire’s Niceville location. As one of Berkshire’s most tenured agents, Alley has consecutively been named to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chairman’s Circle and, more impressively, the Chairman’s Platinum, meaning Alley was among the top 1 percent of agents in Berkshire’s nationwide brokerage.

Alley was the 2016 president of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, Honorary Commander of the 96th Seek Eagle at Eglin AFB, 2015 Niceville Realtor of the Year, a member of the Women's Council of Realtors, and in her spare time is an elite race walker.
